Meet Jo – Driving Instructor in Gosport

Jo is a friendly, patient, and professional driving instructor based in Gosport, committed to helping learners become safe, confident, and independent drivers for life—not just for the driving test.

With a calm and supportive teaching style, Jo tailors each lesson to suit the individual needs of her pupils, whether they are complete beginners, nervous learners, or drivers returning to the road after a break. She focuses strongly on developing sound decision-making skills, good hazard awareness, and real-world driving ability, ensuring pupils are well prepared for everyday driving situations.

Jo has excellent local knowledge of Gosport and the surrounding areas and is happy to guide learners through challenging junctions, roundabouts, and complex road layouts while always keeping the emphasis on understanding and confidence rather than memorising test routes.

Jo  has taken a major step in professional development by beginning the SCQF Level 5 Driver Education Award. This initiative reflects a commitment to enhancing driving education standards. Jo has already successfully completed Unit 1 of this qualification

Alongside this, our senior trainers are progressing through the SCQF Diploma Level 8 in Driver Education — one of the highest qualifications available in the UK. Only a small number of instructors nationwide hold these awards, and we are proud to be part of that leading group.
